This notice explains how the GovLeaders Academy website at govleadersacademy.com, including learn.govleadersacademy.com (the "Site"), uses cookies. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are. Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser so it can remember things, such as that you are signed in.

Cookies the Site needs. Our learning platform, LearnWorlds, uses cookies the Site needs to work: keeping you signed in, protecting your account, remembering your settings and completing checkout. The platform also counts page views for its own built-in reports, which we use only to understand how our courses are used. Our payment processor, Stripe, sets its own cookies on checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud. Pages still served from www.govleadersacademy.com use our hosting provider's visit counts, which use no cookies and do not identify you.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you choose Accept, the Site sets HubSpot analytics cookies (named __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc and __hssrc). They let us see which of our pages you visit and, if you later give us your email address through a form or newsletter sign-up, connect those visits to your contact record. The longest of them lasts six months. When HubSpot loads, its network provider, Cloudflare, may also set a security cookie named __cf_bm on HubSpot's own web addresses; it helps block automated traffic, is not used to identify you, and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of these cookies are set and your visit is not sent to HubSpot. A small cookie remembers your choice so the banner does not appear on every page.

No advertising cookies. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to show you targeted ads. Before we add any other cookie or tracking tool, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy.

Your choices. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the Site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies the Site needs, you may not be able to sign in or complete a course.
